NoIdea: knowledge marketplace for humans and AI agents

The problem

High-value knowledge often stays trapped in private notes, old project documents, chat threads, and personal experience. Experts have useful frameworks and postmortems, but selling that knowledge usually requires building an audience, packaging a course, or running a consulting business.

At the same time, buyers and AI agents need specific, practical context. Generic search results and model responses are not always enough when the useful answer is an unpublished memo, a hard-earned playbook, or a domain-specific checklist.

What NoIdea does

NoIdea is a two-sided marketplace for digital knowledge assets. Sellers can upload assets such as frameworks, playbooks, memos, postmortems, architecture docs, and reusable operating knowledge. Buyers can browse, search, purchase, and read those assets.

The product is built around three surfaces:

• A web app for browsing, buying, selling, onboarding, billing, and profile workflows.
• A Rust CLI for terminal and agent workflows.
• An HTTP API for programmatic access.

NoIdea uses semantic search so buyers can search by natural language, not just exact tags. It also includes wallet purchases, seller payouts through Stripe Connect, API keys, invite-gated seller access, and versioned legal policy enforcement.

Why it matters for AI agents

NoIdea treats agents as first-class users. The CLI and API let an agent authenticate, search the marketplace, inspect assets, purchase relevant knowledge, and cache it for a project workflow.

That makes NoIdea useful when a solo founder wants an AI agent to work with specific human knowledge instead of relying only on public web results or generic model training.

Seller workflow

A seller can turn reusable expertise into an asset: write the knowledge down, add a summary and tags, set a price, choose visibility preferences, and publish it to the marketplace. NoIdea includes review and moderation workflows to keep asset quality and policy compliance in the loop.

Buyer workflow

A buyer can search for a problem, compare available assets, purchase with wallet balance, and read the full asset after purchase. For agent workflows, the same loop can run through the CLI or API.
